The All Progressive Congress Of Nigeria appoints Gaidom as the National Acting Secretary

The all progressive congress of Nigeria national working committee has appointed Mr. Victor Gaidom as the party national acting secretary.
The national publicity secretary  of the APC, Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu, announced the appointment in a statement.
Mr Gaidom, who has been in the office of the  Deputy national Secretary before his appointment to the office of the   National Secretary, will remain in the role until Yobe State nominates a replacement for the state’s Governor-Elect, Mai Mala Buni, who had resigned ahead of the general elections.

Army Speaks About Recent Attacks On Military Bases In North East

The Nigerian Army  reacted to the reports of recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents in some communities and military bases in the north-eastern part of the Nigeria. The General Officer Commanding 7 Division of the Army, Brigadier General Abdulmalik Bulama, responded during an exclusive interview on Wednesday. Brigadier General Bulama, who did not deny the attacks, described them as mere publicity stunts of the insurgents to stay relevant by attacking targets to keep them in the news.
