THE UROMI DIOCESAN BLOCK ROSARY CRUSADE BEGINS THEIR 2019 LENTEN RETREAT

The Diocesan Block Rosary Crusade of catholic diocese of Uromi, commence her  2019 Diocesan Lenten retreat at Mary the Queen parish Ekpoma, Edo state.

The Diocesan chaplain Rev Fr Ferdinand Ovieloba of the Block Rosary crusade addressed the congregation immediately after the opening mass celebrated by the host priest Rev Fr Oluicius.

The Diocesan president Bro Peter Clarence E. Gave a note of welcome to the congregation and admonished all to be cooperative

IMO lawmakers tells Ihedioha "use EFCC to recover looted funds and properties

The Imo State House of Assembly, on Monday, told the Emeka Ihedioha the state governor to employ the services of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and other anti-graft agencies to recover state “looted funds and government properties including government house generator which was carted away.” The lawmakers also asked the governor to suspend all board appointments including the promotion of permanent secretaries by the immediate past governor, Rochas Okorocha from March 2019.
