The Catholic Diocese of Uromi with five (5)deaneries held their first deanery Heavenly choir practices today  at their respective deaneries.

The assistant priest of Mary the Queen, the priest and religious of Ekpoma deanery in gratitude to God welcome and bless all and encouraged them

IMO lawmakers tells Ihedioha "use EFCC to recover looted funds and properties

The Imo State House of Assembly, on Monday, told the Emeka Ihedioha the state governor to employ the services of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and other anti-graft agencies to recover state “looted funds and government properties including government house generator which was carted away.” The lawmakers also asked the governor to suspend all board appointments including the promotion of permanent secretaries by the immediate past governor, Rochas Okorocha from March 2019. The house directed the Directors of Local Government Administration of the 27 LGAs to take over from the suspended LGA chairmen. The speaker, Chinedu Offor, who presided over the plenary directed the clerk of the House, Chinelo Emeghara, to convey the resolutions of the House to the state governor. ...

Makinde gives Ajimobi’s aides 48 hours to return govt vehicles

On wednesday, the Governor Oyo StateSeyi Makinde gave former governor Abiola Ajimobi’s aides a 48-hour ultimatum to return government vehicles with them. The state government in a statement by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Bisi Ilaka, said the former state officials must comply with the directive.
